Situation of the villa:
In the immediate vicinity of a wooded park with ponds, a playground, a tennis court, a pétanque field, 400 m from the town center (July + August market), 12th century Romanesque church, pharmacy , doctor, tobacco / press, post office, 700 m from a hypermarket, 800 m from the sea (supervised Nauzan beach, quality label for bathing water) as well as 2 sea view restaurants La Maison Blanche and Arrosoir , a crêperie, a pizzeria. Bicycle paths in front of the villa and ocean and forest hikes, 8 klm from the Palmyre zoo, 5 klm from golf and horse riding.

Villa of 105 m2 on one level, not overlooked, all rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the garden, comprising:

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Katie. Les lits sont confortables, tout était propre. Il y a 3 chambres dont une suite parentale. Très grande terrasse avec une pergola réglable. Beaucoup de fenêtres donnant sur un très beau jardin. Nous étions 3 générations (grands parents mère petite fille de 4ans) chacun a son espace. Trop bien !!! Cuisine complète et bien équipée. Draps fournis et lits faits à l'arrivée (très appréciable lorsqu'on a fait une longue route sous la pluie et dans les bouchons). Serviettes de bains fournies, gel douche et torchons fournis, ainsi que le PQ - ça peut paraitre un détail, mais c'est important. La maison est située face à un parc magnifique, avec jeux pour enfants. La plage est à 5 minutes en voiture. Il y a des commerces de proximité à 5 minutes à pieds et des grandes surfaces à 10 minutes en voiture. Bref, nous avons passé une semaine géniale avec des belles visites à la clé : Oléron, zoo de la Palmyre, Royan, Talmont sur Gironde etc ...Cette maison est à recommandée pour son calme mais aussi pour sa proximité avec tout.

Maison très agréable et très bien équipée. Les couchages sont confortables, et la chambre parentale avec douche et WC « privatifs » fort appréciable. Vaux/Mer est une petite ville agréable et dynamique. De nombreuses activités sont proposées sur la période estivale, pour tous le monde (marché nocturne, spectacle pyrotechnique, spectacle de marionnettes…sur notre période de résidence. Maison à 15 min à pied de la « petite » plage de Nauzan, 10 min du marché et de la boulangerie, en face d’un parc arboré agréable. A 30 min en voiture des grandes plages de Royan. En Bref, un séjour très agréable, dans un cadre très agréable. Enfin l’hôte est très sympathique et de bons conseils.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem sehr schönen und modernen Haus. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und auch die Lage ist perfekt. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Freizeitaktivitäten und die Nähe zu Bäcker, Park und Meer hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Cathy war immer ansprechbar und hat uns zwei erholsame Wochen in Frankreich ermöglicht. Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen!

Lovely modern house, very comfortable & well equipped. Convenient for beaches & cycle paths, lovely park opposite, a nice walk into the village for shops, bakery & cafes. A good market in the square for oysters fish & vegetables etc. we loved our stay & Cathy was very helpful & sorted the confusion over bed linen. The only slight negative is the lack of privacy in the garden, didn’t really affect us too much but a screen on the right of the property would be all that’s needed. I would recommend the property to friends & hope to return one day

We had a great time in Vaux sur mer. The house was great and equipped very well. Walking distance to the see takes around 10 minutes. Landlord Cathy was always available for questions and help. We can recommend this place and we would book this house again.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines en famille. La maison est tres agreable, décorée avec gout, bien équipée et confortable. A noter que la maison est équipée d'une pergola bien utile mais qui n est pas (encore) sur les photos. La maison est particulierement bien placée : en face d un grand parc, parfait pour balade ou footing, située a une centaine de metres d'installations sportives comme terrains de tennis, paddle, beach volley, basket, parc de jeu pour enfant et a une bonne dizaine de minutes de marche d'une plage tres agreable. Boulangerie a quelques minutes a pied. Seul un petit bemol: Concernant la location du linge de maison, il faut aller les chercher et ramener a un pressing et le prix est plutot élevé mais Cathy reflechit a une solution alternative... Nous recommandons fortement cette maison également pour l'accueil et la sympathie de Cathy.

Great place and superb location. Cathy our host and owner was very helpful and friendly. The location is great and idilic. We have had a great walking and biking holiday. The bigger towns are not far away. There is a bar La Mansion Blanche on the beach which is worth using and a good number restaurants in the town The bike paths are very good. It was great to get the ferry with the bikes over to the peninsula. The house is well equipped and has all the mod-cons. The garden in the front of the house is a sun trap and great place for a glass of wine after a day out. I highly recommend this house. Come and enjoy it.

Das moderne Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und schön dekoriert. Es liegt an einem großen Park und ist nicht weit vom Strand entfernt. Die Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind nicht inkludiert. Cathy ist eine fürsorgliche Vermieterin und hat uns geholfen, die passende Bettwäsche in einer Wäscherei zu mieten. Wir haben in dem Haus zwei sehr schöne Urlaubswochen verbracht und können es weiter empfehlen.

We had a great time at this lovely property. It was well located and very well equipped, with plenty of room for us and our two teenage boys. We especially enjoyed the covered courtyard which was nice and cool for breakfast and in the evenings. Cathy was a lovely, friendly host and was very patient with our terrible French! Would definitely recommend this property.

Domicile très bien placé à 20 mn de la plage à pied, près de commerces. Maison très confortable : il ne manque rien, on est comme chez soi et Cathy est charmante. Une belle occasion pour découvrir ce petit coin de France.

We had a lovely 2 weeks stay. The house is fully equipped, I can not think of any thing to add. It is situated in a lovely area overlooking the park of Vaux sur Mer with easy walking to the coast. The area is called the Cote de Beaute and really lives up to its name. A perfect holiday.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette belle maison. Elle est fonctionnelle, très bien située (plage, marché, boulangerie, piste cyclable à proximité) et est idéale pour une famille . Petit plus : Cathy est une hôte très sympathique avec pleins de bons conseils concernant les activités alentours et les restaurants.

Les plus: Jolie petite maison moderne à 700m de la plage, en face du parc municipal, très calme et avec un marché animé chaque jour à proximité. La maison est de style moderne, avec un patio agréable et une suite parentale. La propriétaire est très sympathique. Le seul regret: la météo était incertaine cette année. Heureusement, il existe de nombreuses activités en dehors de la plage qui permettent de bien se changer les idées (surf, balade à Rochefort, Marenne Oleron, Royan). Le « moins »: un jardin sans palissade, avec une rue peu fréquentée en vis à vis. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine!

Le séjour s'est bien déroulé. L'emplacement près du parc est agréable et peu bruyant selon les circonstances. Maison agréable le petit bémol serait un manque de rangement au niveau de la cuisine et des affaires telles que les chaussures au niveau de l'entrée / pièce à vivre. Sinon rien à redire.
