「We had a great stay at this property. Very private, and a short drive to Playa Junquillal (which we loved). Beatrice was a wonderful host and responsive to any questions we had. Directions to the house were clear and accurate. Kitchen had everything we needed. Three AC units all functioned well. The outdoor shower is an amazing feature! Totally different from busy, heavily-touristed areas like Tamarindo. Recommended!」

「My family and I had a wonderful stay at Chalet Escondido. We saw many different types of wildlife such as the Coati, Walking Stick Bug, Bats, Giant Red-Winged Grasshopper and the Howler monkeys. We could hear and see the monkey daily during our stay. During our time here we did many day trips to various beaches. 「We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. Be sure to stock up on EVERYTHING you'll need before going up there as a trip to any store or restaurant will be lengthy. We had to leave after staying only one of our two nights as we just didn't have enough food.
