"We had an amazing stay at the Taj, from the hospitality and warmth of all the staff members to the individual attention to each group of guests, we experienced a very beautiful time there. I have stayed at the Oberoi and at Leela Palace, but the warmth and genuine care from the staff at the Taj, Komarakom was unparallelled. We were there to celebrate my mothers 75th bday, my sister, my mom and me, and the team at the Taj made it very memorable for us. We could also see similar hospitality towards all guests, and this contributed to a very relaxed and happy energy to the place, where most guests slowed down, reached out and connected with each other, found some common threads of connection, and exchanged life stories, making it even more memorable overall. Thank you team Taj, right from Mr Shain who communicated and arranged for a comfortable check in on the day of our arrival to Mr Khan and his team who checked in with us and made sure we were happy with the food and other services. A truly magical few days and memories for our lifetime. I hope to return with my husband soon."

"The property is located in a serene village with lake view. Nice covered walkways to the rooms and cottages. Lobby is nice, bit away from the rooms. Nicely landscaped surroundings. Good food options available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff was courteous. My originally given room had some moldy smell and they exchanged it. Rooms are clean with nice bathrooms, AC and comfortable bed. Limited chargeable snack items and beverages were stocked. Has spa and activities room which I didn't use. There is a nice pool with amenities. Good property. Cons: Property has got maintenance going on. There was no advice regarding the noise. Sleep was disturbed due to intermittent banging sound from upstairs. Management should have taken care of this. The village is not having any nearby walkable shops or other public amenities. So transportation can be slightly difficult to get to attractions in the city side."

"Nice and peaceful location, lovely restaurant stuff but awful reception: they were neiter able to connect with a kayak tour provider nor to get a cab on time. If you organize yourself, lovely and calm place just 3km from Alleppey jetty."

"Very nice, very quiet property. The entrance is not very conspicuous for first timers. When we were there, there was some construction going on, so it was understandable that some areas were not as clean. However, this also affected the path to the in-house restaurant making the approach unpleasant and little things like these are not very difficult to manage even with the construction going on, and it was a bit of a surprise. Rooms and facilities were excellent otherwise, food was good, staff pleasant."
