It is located in the Carampane area, the old red light district, where a noble Venetian family, the Rampani family (hence the name of the building) had established the Castelletto, a group of houses where prostitutes gathered and exercised their craft, looking out the windows with bare breasts to attract customers. Not surprisingly, right here we find the bridge and the foundations of the Tette, which take their name from this interesting and curious custom.
