There may have been a heater, but I didn’t see one, so we never actually made it into the water. It was a short 2 to 3 minutes by car to local stores and restaurants, and about 15 minutes to Venice Beach. To pay less than 300 for two nights during a vacation week was, I think, incredible. “This hotel is great! friendly and helpful staff, clean and large room (the quality is particularly amazing given the low price), and it is walkable to the Ringling mueseum. The only thing I am not that satisfied is the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. Will definitely consider this place once I visit Sarasota again.”
