In the heart of Venice

Located on the first floor of an 18th century palazzo, our apartment offers a typically Venetian setting: whiten exposed beams, Venetian marble pavement, antique doors, stone walls as well as large arched windows opening onto the garden of the neighbouring palace. The apartment is very bright thanks to its South exposition and its openings. It has been fully renovated in 2015. The modern fittings and the design furniture invite you to spend cosy and romantic holidays in a very beautiful historical setting. Being from Switzerland, our goal is to provide Swiss quality standard.

The district of the Basilica dei Frari is in the centre of Venice. It is a typically Venetian living place and an attraction for tourists who have a stroll in these charming narrow streets along the picturesque canals or who visit the most beautiful museums of the town. It is easily accessible from the train station (10 minutes on foot) from the Piazzale Roma (15 minutes on foot), from the Tronchetto parking lot via the elevated railway (25 minutes) and from the airport (30 minutes by bus and on foot). We are 10 minutes from the Rialto Bridge, 20 minutes from the Piazza San Marco, 30 minutes from the Art Biennial or 40 minutes from the Lido and its beaches. On the Campo San Stin, at the foot of our house, you will find small delicious cafés, the best ice-maker of Venice, supermarkets (Billa and Coop) and above all, some of the most beautiful museums and collections of the town (Scuola Grande de San Rocco, Foundation François Pinault, the Basilica Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, etc.)

Great location with fewer tourists. Nice eateries nearby for breakfast or cichetti in the late afternoon. G-7 meeting added some excitement as many police were in the square.

Lovely neighbourhood

Our stay in San Polo was perfect and magical! Our meeting with Erika to get the keys and introduced to the flat was seamless. The flat was spacious, comfortable beds and fully equipped. Our host Olivier left a binder of information about local restaurants, shops etc. Full of character and so close to local eateries and smaller shops. Quiet! We would definitely stay here again! Only note: keep windows closed at night or the mosquitoes will feast on you!

Venice experience

The property was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our five day stay. The location is centrally located and in a quiet neighborhood. Once we got familiar with the area it was fairly easy to find our way to the sights we wanted to visit. No complaints and the management was a pleasure to work with.

Beautiful apartment

The apartment was wonderful. It had everything you needed and was very comfortable. I loved the decor; it was a great mix of styles that fit perfectly together. It was also in a great location away from all the majorly crowded areas, but close enough to get to without any issues.

Glamorous stay

We arrived later than we anticipated to Venice but the check in process was very clear so we had no issues! The location of the apartment was lovely - away from the major hub-bub but close to everything you could want or need. The little campo San Stin nearby has cafes and a place for the kids to run around. The apartment itself was immaculately clean and furnished. Very stylish! The owners left a binder with recommendations that were spot on. We truly recommend!

Magnifique séjour au cœur de Venise

Séjour très agréable au cœur de Venise dans le quartier historique San Polo. Appartement de 2 chambres très bien situé et légèrement excentré du tumulte du centre-ville (Rialto/San Marco) ce qui nous a permis d’apprécier un peu de quiétude après de longues journées de visites et balades dans Venise. Communication et réactivité parfaite et agréable tant avec Olivier, un propriétaire charmant et attentionné qu’avec l’équipe d’accueil locale. Nous recommandons définitivement cette location au cœur de Venise.

Charming apartment!

Our family had a lovely stay in this stylish apartment. It’s central location is perfect for exploring the different areas of Venice, and the neighborhood is quiet, particularly at night. Communication with the host was easy and his Venice staff are available nearby. It was an enjoyable experience.

Im Herzen vom Venedig

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt und haben das geschmackvoll eingerichtete und großzügig geschnittene Appartment sehr genossen. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und man ist zu Fuß oder via Vaporetto schnell überall im den verschiedenen Stadtteilen. Leider ist es durch die zentrale Lage auch recht laut und die vermeintlich kleinen Gassen vor dem Appartment waren recht belebt - auch in der Nacht. Die Cafés und Bars direkt und anliegend am Campo San Stin sind zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit einen Besuch wert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und haben uns zu dritt (3 Erwachsene) sehr wohl gefühlt.

A lovely clean apartment within walking distance of most art venues

Excellent communications with the property owner, Olivier. Check in went quite smoothly abd the apartment was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds abd all necessary facilities provided . A great host to deal with.

très bel appartement très bien situé et bien équipé ; il faisait très chaud en ce mois de juillet et malgré les 3 ventilateurs il était difficile de se rafraichir la nuit. Mais nous avons quand même bien profité des merveilles de Venise et du quartier très sympathique proche de tout. Le propriétaire était très gentil.

Great location, walking distance to train station and close to Frari church

Great location, very central, great for sightseeing. Two nice bedrooms with proper double beds. Stylish kitchen, well equipped. Good bathroom with bigger shower stall and window. Heating works very well. The only thing missing is a full size mirror, in my view. People walking and talking in the alley outside can be heard despite closed windows in shutters which is often the case in Venice.

Se glisser dans la peau d’une famille vénitienne le temps d’une semaine...

Nichée au cœur de Venise, à l’ecart pourtant des hordes de touristes indélicats, le génial pied à terre de Laure et Olivier offre donc à la fois la possibilité d’expérimenter le quotidien des vénitiens à la saveur incomparable (proximité de l’excellent Tonolo, de l’animée Bottiglia...), comme de rayonner avec aisance vers les plus grands trésors artistiques, plus secrets ou fondamentaux, anciens comme contemporains. Merci pour l’écrin offert à des enfants émerveillés par leur premier voyage dans la Sérénissime! Et longue vie à Venise ( ce qui devrait exclure les paquebots!)!

Très bel appartement, magnifiquement refait, idéalement centré dans un quartier très calme.

Un grand soin est accordé à l'ameublement, sobre et élégant. La literie est très confortable. La cuisine est parfaitement équipée, spacieuse et moderne. La salle de bain est récente, très propre. Toutes les pièces sont spacieuses. Et nous avons apprécié l'emplacement de l'appartement dans une rue ombragée, qui nous a permis de dormir au frais en plein mois de juillet.
