Beautiful location near Lake Champlain and the Vermont border. The rooms were a good size; staff was friendly and professional; the main hall provided interesting info on activities and places to see near by. Very good experience.

Everything was great except we could have used a luggage rack in the room and because I forgot soap & shampoo we would have been grateful if there was some provided in our ensuite.

Good value
A very pleasant B&B on a quiet street just off Lake Champlain. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the wide variety of birds. The 'downtown' part of Venise en Quebec is close enough to be walkable, but there's no sidewalk, so you have to be comfortable walking in the bike lane. The owners are nice if a little reserved (perhaps because our French is not great), the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. All in all, not luxurious, but a good value for the price.

Quiet room off main road
We traveled by bike and had to wait 2 hrs to check in - not a complaint- just a reality when traveling by bike. Clean and comfortable room, quiet, and a very nice breakfast.

Homey away from home
Large, clean room. Comfortable bed and warm comforter (it was -12F overnight!). Quite large, clean bathroom. Nice, fluffy towels. And breakfast was perfect. Only "complaint": The soap bars were small disks about the size of a silver dollar. There were enough--at least a dozen--but they were kind of awkward to use in the shower.

Beautiful bed and breakfast on Lake Champlain
Stayed one night at this beautiful bed and breakfast on the shores of Lake Champlain, about one hour south of Montreal. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast was very delicious with eggs, bacon, ham, smoked salmon, fresh bread, fresh fruits, coffee, juice and more. The decor and ambiance of the place was very comfortable and homey. There was a beautiful porch/veranda where you can sit and enjoy the outside air, and it was a very very short walk to Lake Champlain. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and will definitely go back to Gite Le Maison du Jardinier again!!!

Cute hotel, very hospitable hosts
We got a room with a balcony, it was very cozy and clean. The hotel is run by a Canadian couple; they were very polite and hospitable. The breakfast was very delicious. It was a very pleasant visit.

Service, food and hospitality are very good. Breakfast is amazing. Only down is the smoke smell, even if it's a smoke-free place you can feel it inside the room. I might sound a little picky but allergie is the boss... overall pretty good place.

Wonderful stay, Amazing hosts
Amazing time staying at the Bed and Breakfast. The hosts were unbelivably friendly and accommodating. Very close to wine region, and a quick jaunt up to Montreal as well. Can't wait to return.

Great BNB, would clearly recommend.
This was a single night stay after a day in the vineyards in St-Armand. It wasn't really close to the vineyards but there was simply no hotel really close. I would recommend this BNB to anyone planning a similar trip. There are not that many restaurants in town but we were able to find a really decent one (multiple services, not fast food). The only downside is that the owners are smokers, they do it outside but obviously you get a faint smell of cigarette. As an upside, none of the rooms had that smell, not even the sheets or drapes.

Quiet, picturesque B&B near beaches.
Spent one restful night here as a bicycle-tourist during a heat wave. The cool air, beaches and comfort were just what I needed.

Un temps d’attente à l’accueil (30 minutes). Il fallait appeler pour que quelqu’un vienne ouvrir le gîte. Nous avions l’endroit à nous seuls, mon conjoint et moi. Bel endroit. Barbara, la personne ressource sur place était très gentille et attentionnée. Excellent déjeuner. Un peu loin des attraits de Venise en Québec.
