Room decor is dated but clean. Landscaping needs help, and many things are rusting and looks not well kept. They are charging for parking now, but the lot was not even full. Breakfast was good.

The property is in a great location across the street from the beach. Sleeping with the window open proved to be very noisy with the freeway noise. The front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful, but go into it remembering the property is a historical site and does not have all of the bells and whistles.

It is a historic property so the grounds were beautiful and it’s next to the beach. I stayed in a cottage and unfortunately it was not as updated as I’d hoped. The fireplace wasn’t working and the floor hadn’t been mopped in awhile as my socks and feet were constantly dirty. I probably wouldn’t stay here again. Especially the price I paid for the cottage.
