“We loved everything about our stay. Our hosts were very kind, and put generous effort into providing delicious breakfasts, giving suggestions about local attractions, and allowing us as much or as little cat time as we wanted. The room we were in was very cozy, with a comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches such as a water kettle for tea or coffee, a small fridge, and a TV setup we didn’t take advantage of. The private bathroom down the hall was clean and had everything we needed. I would……

“This was the most disgusting place I have ever stepped foot in. There was BLOOD SPLATTERED ON THE WALLS, mold in the shower, holes in the wall stuffed with tissue, a nasty beanie covering the smoke detector. Towels were dirty, sheets were dirty. This place was a literal pit of nightmares. Go here to get hep c and bed bugs. We turned around and left, got a refund from Expedia. If you want to be in an episode of 20/20 then this is the place for you.”

“I arrived after dark and the hotel and the village were like a magical New England winter scene with sparkling lights everywhere. The proximity of the hotel to a typical New England church and numerous white painted wooden framed structures was a scene from our historical heritage. The hotel was reopened less than a year ago after extensive renovations. The outcome is a GEM. Decorations deserve an A+.”
