「le gîte est parfaitement adapté pour 8 personnes. La grande salle permet un repas et des soirées entre amis. Le propriétaire est très gentil, à l’écoute de nos questions et disponible pour y répondre, toujours positivement. Nous n’hésiterons pas à revenir même si la superbe glycine, en fleur ce weekend, ne nous réserve pas la même surprise. Le décors extérieur est cosy et charmant. Une excellente expérience. 」

「The very kind hostess gave us great advice during our weeklong stay. The gite is fantastic - comfortable beds, ample bathrooms, and nicely equipped kitchen. Avernes is a lovely town, close to many other small villages and beautiful countryside, but also easy drive to Monet’s house and gardens and larger towns. The restaurant in town offers delicious food, and the butcher is well provisioned…both an easy walk from the gite. Highly recommended, Thanks Sandrine!」

「Trotz Nähe zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sehr ruhig gelegen. An der Historischen Grenze zwischen dem Frankenreich und den Engländern (Gisor) zur Zeit des Hundertjährigen Krieges gelegen. Daher viele interessante Ausflugsmöglichkeiten Ca. eine Stunde von Paris entfernt」

「A family of six adults we stayed at the Gîte during the Olympic Games 2024. We chose Thoiry because it was close enough to the horse riding venues at Versailles. We truly enjoyed coming back to the quiet of Thoiry after long, hot, exciting days at the Games. The house was exactly as described and photographed. Our two cars could easily be parked on the gated property. Fanny was the most considerate host. We felt very welcome and can recommend the Gîte to anyone who is looking for a relaxed stay...
