"Our first room had new carpet with a strong smell. So we requested a different room, which we got. It didn’t smell as much, but the new carpet smell was still there. The breakfast was limited. On Saturday most items were out. It seemed exceptionally busy. Saturday night kids were running up and down the hall. I was about to notify the staff at 10 pm when they quited down. "

"The room was impeccably clean except the bottom of the shower but that might just be the type of water from the city. Everything else was so clean I suspect it was not from lack of attention to detail. The shower got nice and hot and had good pressure. The bed was pretty comfortable. Temperature controls seemed to work well. The blinds kept the room pretty dark. You could hear some ambient noise but a white noise app on my phone covered it up. Breakfast was very typical for the type of hotel. Sausage, eggs, waffle bar, oatmeal, yogurt, breads, etc. Nothing overly fancy but gets the job done. I thought the coffee was pretty good. Staff was friendly. I'd definitely recommend this hotel especially for the price. "

"Breakfast is fresh and with a variety of options for everyone in your group (eggs, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, cereals, pancakes, juices, milk, a refridge with yogurts and hard-boiled eggs etc., coffee, and teas). The pool area is very large, heated, and has several tables that are spread out so you don't feel crowed. The hot tub is HUGE!! They also have plenty of towels. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff always goes above and beyond! Stoney Creek is definitely our go-to place to stay."
