Wir haben Ausflüge in alle Richtungen unternommen. Es gibt einen Bahnhof mit Verbindung nach Catania, Syrakus, Messina, Taormina. Im kleinen Ort Carruba ist alles vorhanden, was man zum täglichen Leben braucht, Bäcker, Lebensmittelläden, Pizzeria und eine nette Bar. Die Badestrände von Riposto und Cottone……

Auch der geplante Ausflug auf den Ätna hat ganz nach unseren Vorstellungen geklappt und war sehr spannend und informativ. Die Unterkunft lag in einer sehr ruhigen Seitenstraße, und trotzdem sehr zentral. Wir waren nur 5 km entfernt vom Flughafen, 1/2 Std. Spaziergang zum wunderschönen Sandstrand, und in die……
