「This is a first class hotel with responsive amd friendly staff. The location can be spotted from miles away at the summit of a very high hill above which provides wonderful sights of the city and river. The dinner was outstanding and the staff attentive. 」

「We had a wonderful week in this property, set in a beautiful garden with private outdoor eating area and pool in a shared area of the garden. Our host and his wife were very warm and welcoming. Lovely coastline with great walks in all directions. Easy to stay here without a car. Bar 5 mins away with daily fresh bread, supermarket 10 mins walk, and local trains up and down the coast to nearby towns.」

「An amazing place to stay - an ancestral family home with beautiful grounds and a great outdoor pool. Made very welcome by the owner. Don't expect the trappings of a modern hotel though ( e.g. Air conditioning or modern tech). Some might find it old fashioned but if you like historic houses then you won't find better.」
