“Place was beautiful and the rooms are spacious, would like to have had a coffee maker in the room. Had a hard time finding the underground parking garage. Very nice to walk to the ball game.”

“Gina and staff were warm and friendly. When our toilet clogged, we got upgraded. When we needed a delayed checkout, they accommodated. We had a fire for a cold night and got delicious eggs and crispy bacon for breakfast. Highly recommend for those lovers of all things Italian. ”

“There is no "self-park" parking on site. You need to use a nearby parking garage. The parking garage was fairly close (less than 2 blocks), but I found the description on Expedia to be misleading. The elevator is tiny (max 3 people). That's without luggage... would be a tight fit with luggage. The refrigerator had something spilled into the handle that wasn't cleaned up. The staff was great, however. Friendly and helpful.”

“It was impossible to get in contact with anyone in the “lobby” which was just a locked room down a hallway with a phone i could hear ringing over and over again through the walls. I did not see a single staff member my entire stay. The walls are so thin I could hear every little thing. Thank god the speak easy was closed downstairs or I don’t think I would have gotten any sleep at all. There were only 2 towels in the bathroom and half a roll of toilet paper. No hooks anywhere to hang your……

“First time at Dorothy's but I've stayed at her sister location so I know the owner/management and what to expect. Great location and the building is kept up very well. My only non happy comment was no dresser in this room. Its ok since this visit was just me. Being able to use a full kitchen and store food in the refrigerator is a major plus”

“In a good spot in the city, but there were a lot of issues- broken elevator, no exhaust fans in the bathrooms. Had to switch rooms bc the mildew smell in the first was awful. Comfy beds.”

“I think it's a little quiet, as this is a house, so sometimes there may be only one person (you) in the house at night.”

“Weird set up where the only entrance to the hotel is through the garage. Had trouble figuring out the heat/ac. Few tv choices & couldn’t figure out how to get streaming on tv.”
