The house was beautiful! Our room was very accommodating! Love gathering around for breakfast with the other. I had special dietary need for health reasons and the hostess was very helpful! She was super sweet and we just instantly loved everything about our stay!

Our room at the Baer House was beautiful. I enjoyed looking at all the antiques. The breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the conversations with the other guests. LaToya who manages the Baer House is so welcoming and friendly. I felt like I was visiting her home. She was very helpful with local attractions.

Gorgeous rooms! Immaculately clean, every inch. Our hostess, LaTonya, is the heart of the experience. Very friendly, knowledgeable of the area, and we left as friends, sure to return. The breakfast was hot and delicious! Beautiful stay!

Stunning Victorian Bed & Breakfast. The rooms are beautiful. So comfortable and quiet. Wonderful food. Ms LaTonya is amazing. We do hope to get back there again!!!

LaTonya was an amazing host. She went above and beyond. The house was beautiful!! We enjoyed hearing about the history of the old mansion. My husband and I enjoyed the pool table in the parlor. We greatly appreciated the early delicious breakfast that Latonya prepared for us as we had to leave early to get to our daughter’s cross country meet in Clinton…We will definitely stay again!! And if you are worried about safety, the Sheriff’s office is across the street!!

TONYA and her son, Jay, were AMAZING! As a retired history teacher, I loved the antiques and the house was SO WELL done. I will def be back if ever in Vicksburg again. The breakfast waa really good, as well. I was in The Leona Magnolia Suite and the bed was STUNNING!

This is a wonderful Bed & Breakfast Hotel. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and filling! The variety of courses and tastes were first rate. And the 1870's Eastlake house and furnishings create a magical experience. I highly recommend staying here for your stay in Vicksburg.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The property is just beautiful, clean, the furniture and home decor is so beautifully done, all antiques and timeless pieces. Bed was super comfy. But the star of the show is LaTonya. She was so welcoming, accommodating, helpful, she goes above and beyond to make your stay a wonderful experience. The breakfasts were delicious too! We will most definitely be back on our way to/from Auburn when we visit our daughter! Also, within walking distance to charming downtown Vicksburg.

We enjoyed our stay at The Baer House so much. Tonya was welcoming and started seeing to our needs as soon as we arrived. The home is spotless and beautifully decorated with historical artifacts and period furniture. We will definitely be back for another two day getaway.

The Baer House exceeded our expectations. It was furnished with so many unique 1800’s pieces. The breakfast was delicious. Latonya was a wonderful hostess. She was kind, friendly and knowledgeable about the house and the furnishings.

I was in Vicksburg for a week, on business. The year before, I stayed in a hotel on the other side of town. This time, I wanted to be downtown, making the flavor of the town more accessible. I was not disappointed. This place is utterly charming, a well-preserved taste of the 1800s, in which the house was built. It was like stepping back in time, with all of the modern amenities that you would want in any overnight stay. The floors were shiny and clean. The breakfast was far better than anything you would get in town, fending for yourself. The staff was everything that you would hope for. The bed...the bed was so nice that I asked what brand it was. It was so comfortable! Good food and drink are an easy walk and that saves you the trouble of figuring out how many drinks you should have for dinner, and maybe after dinner. I had purchased some local bourbon and told the Manager, LaTonya, that I was hoping to enjoy some while sitting in a rocking chair, on the porch, and watch a thunderstorm roll in that night. She set out glasses for me and even ice, in case I wanted it. The house, the bed, the breakfast, the location, they were all amazing! However, the very best part of the entire experience was LaTonya. She cares for her guests as if they are family. Southern hospitality at its finest! She went out of her way to serve me and make sure that I was comfortable. This is the only place that I will ever stay if I find myself back in Vicksburg!

Beautifully maintained and decorated historic property! Ground floor rooms are available to use - including a room with a billiard table! Second floor bedroom room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Private bath was modern with a tub shower. Can’t beat the free parking on the property. The manger, Latonya, was wonderful- very friendly and extremely helpful! A truly delicious chicken and waffle breakfast was served in the lovely dining room! We can’t say enough how wonderful this property is and especially Latonya! Highly recommend!
