What a great home we were able to stay in during our anniversary. It was like having our very own Bed and Breakfast. The home was centrally located, had plenty of space, plenty of sitting areas, the bedrooms were large and we had a great experience overall. We are looking forward to staying here again in the near future.

Southern Charm

We absolutely loved our stay in Vicksburg. This property is perfect for a family gathering. We had six people in our group and we were all so comfortable. We had dinners at the large dining room table and spent the evening in the family room laughing and talking. The owners of this property are so kind and attentive. We look forward to coming here again someday.

This place is uninhabitable. The filtered photos on the listing give the illusion that the place is in great, restored condition; however, the smells and floors beneath your feet tell a different story. I received notice of check-in protocol and that there was a tenant in the dungeon-like apartment attached the home just moments before check-in time. We arrived to a residence that appeared abandoned from the junk in the yard, tall grass, and blankets over the windows facing the streets. The broken grill by the door you enter with the duct taped doorbell didn’t improve first impressions. Upon entering, there was an overwhelming clammy feeling and smell of mold. The floors were uneven and most rooms upstairs were heavily slanted. The bathrooms are mirrored from a horror film. Many doors are padlocked. The floors and furniture were filthy and I didn’t want my family to even sit. They had fans and window units on, so the air was heavy, humid, and carried a heavy smell of mold and grime. We genuinely worried we’d leave the place with bedbugs. The place would do much better if was described as a dirty, haunted house experience. Unfortunately for us, who were passing through after our beach vacation… that was not the experience that we sought. After being there for about 15 minutes, we left to stay in a local hotel. The owner would not grant a refund, despite the uninhabitable property they offered. I recommend this location to no one.
