excellent for just hanging around town. Pubs,coffee shops, ice cream, gifts ,restaurants etc. all in short walking distance from the hotel. Never moved the car all weekend and didn’t need a taxi to get around.

Very quaint old hotel. They have definitely tried to update it but it’s pretty bare bones. The large double shower was a nice surprise. Has a kitchen and small fridge but no cutlery or cooking implements included. Really great hotel if you’re only visiting downtown Victoria and walking everywhere. Parking was off site at the Bay Centre and I had to drive around that parking lot to find a space as it’s quite busy most days. Overall, a good stay.

Clean room but greatly in need of updating. Wallpaper was coming loose. A lot of signs of wear overall. Bed was comfortable though. Location was convenient but that also came with noise. I would have liked a heads up regarding the remodeling in progress. I was surprised of the price given the maintenance situation.

My stay there was unpleasant to the point where I did not even use my prepaid final night. I was on the 4th floor with a non operative elevator The Bradford is selling location and nothing else…… Wyndham is not benefiting from this

The shower head is an absolute nightmare. It’s too high and the water heat adjustments are hard to interpret. The overall carpeting in the property gave me a breathing problem. No labels on the shampoo and body wash dispensers.

Bathroom has no sink so you have to go out and use the mini kitchen sink to wash your hands or wash your face or brush your teeth. Can’t use the stove top because there is no pots/pans. No spoons or forks as well. Too noisy at night. Can hear the band playing downstairs.

Room #15 was clean and inviting, but lacked a closet or a hanging rack area where we could hang our clothes. Only one chair in our double queen room. The curtains hung over the A/C unit restricting air flow, so we had to pin the right hand side up to get full air flow. Didn't like the view into the opposite room that was some 12 ft. away. The shower head was far too high for my wife, so we had to leave it in the hanging position. If se was on her own, she would have to have assistance and ask the staff to remove it. There were no beside lights or clocks, so we had to use the main lights all the time. Staff in general were pleasant and helpful. A/C unit window mounted was working as expected. Good selection of shops, restaurants/cafe's close by. Hotel does not have restaurant and not mentioned when we checked in. Parking options are available a short walk away. The photos that show the rooms are nothing like the one we stayed in. Very disappointed with Expedia and the Bedford Inn. This is the first time I have ever, in my world travel have had to write such disappointments.

Decent rates and excellent location. Busy downtown area, so a bit of street noise, but not too bad. Definitely a funky character building and not a grey cookie-cutter establishment. Staff was good and things were relatively clean. Downsides: - hallway had a musty smell and plumbing needs some major upgrades. Bathroom faucet was barely attached; kitchen sink made some terrifying noises and started belching soapy water from someone draining a tub upstairs. - no lamps on the night stands. Just odd. - fridge was turned on full blast and ruined some groceries by freezing them. - Bathroom had no fan and door had no latch. - 3/4 windows had no screen; the one screen was broken and wouldn’t close properly - the entire ground floor is stairs and elevators. Reception desk is on the next flight up. Again just a bit odd.

Property is currently under construction so the Lobby was upstairs on the mezzanine. Room and bedding were clean. The bathroom door was hard to slide closed. And 2 beds made the room very snug, especially the space between the bed and bathroom. The a/c did not cool the room as much as we’d hoped but thank goodness was the weather wasn’t too hot this weekend. The location was great! We were conveniently right on the touristy street, making shopping easy. We had ice cream each night which was less than a block away. Overall not a bad stay.
