Perfectly located between Beacon Hill Park, downtown, and James Bay Village, Duet is a great place to call home base in the heart of Victoria.
It is located on Michigan Street in James Bay, a quintessentially Victorian neighbourhood complete with parks, a wonderful local school, two bustling villages, and effortless pedestrian access to downtown.
A lovely courtyard, planted between the two buildings, is a green, serene proposition for both residents and pedestrians on Michigan Street. The courtyard begins at the street, rooting it into the neighbourhood and inviting residents to enter. A 9th floor rooftop terrace completes the wonderful amenities Duet has to offer. The landscaped outdoor space with incredible views and a covered outdoor BBQ kitchen is for the use of ALL staying here, a stunning common space.
Duet's location in James Bay puts it between nature and city, between historic and modern. James Bay is surrounded by water on three sides; Victoria Harbour to the north and west, and the Strait of Juan de Fuca to the south. Beacon Hill Park provides a green border to the east. James Bay's extensive waterfront is alive with activity including an array of industry, government and transportation facilities. The heart of the neighbourhood is James Bay Village, filled with local shops and services. James Bay is an extremely walkable and bike-able neighbourhood and acts as a hub for many community sporting events that use Dallas Road as a major portion of their routes. James Bay has two allotment gardens located on Montreal Street, the Neighbourhood Garden of All Sorts and the Allotment Garden as well as a weekly farmers market on Sat from 9-3 May to September at the corner of Menzies and Superior.

CHECK IN is between 4 pm and 8 pm P.S.T. and CHECK OUT is before 11 am P.S.T. Occasionally we may be able to accommodate special earlier check in requests but there are no guarantees.
GARAGE HEIGHT: 6'10" (2.08 m) - If you have a large vehicle, please be sure and check the garage clearance for the building to make sure your vehicle will fit.
There is storage for up to two bikes in a designated spot in one of the bike rooms, but please, let us know if you plan on bringing bikes.
Victoria is the busy, vibrant and growing capital of British Columbia. Just as in many cities in BC, Canada and likely other countries in the world, we are experiencing a shortage of housing. In dealing with this situation there are several new buildings being constructed in the downtown core, and elsewhere. We recognize that there could be some daytime noise but are confident that it will not interfere with your time in beautiful Victoria.
