“Room appeared to have not been updated in a few decades, we had to sleep with the doors cracked due to the musty / moldy smell. My wife was very offput with me for booking this room. For the pricepoint I expected much better”

“Toiletries were useless. Inadequate towels, soap the size of a dime. Bed and pillows awful Cont breakfast consisted of two loaves of opened bread, jam containers not clean and almost empty, a dozens or so of mini donuts in a tupper- ware container,,,,,,at 7 AM coffees was ice cold. No staff available. Their biggest concern is to over charge all guests that have pets. this place has decreased in performance over the years. I will never stay there again.”

“We stayed at this beautiful new property in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with our teenage daughters. We stayed in 2 stargazer tents, and we loved the beds, shower (quite hot), privacy and the stargazing experience. We enjoyed the fire pit and complimentary marshmallows as well. There was complimentary tea and coffee and water offered in the lobby tent. However, the other amenities of the camp site were mediocre at best. Food was terrible and the alcoholic drinks were not good either.……

“It was family friendly with a farm for children to visit. We enjoyed the spa very much however our room was not the best. The refrigerator didn’t work, I reported it and another one was moved in. Unfortunately it didn’t work either and they left the dolly in our room. The phone didn’t work to call the front desk. I wouldn’t stay there again.”

“An old road motel turned into a boutique hotel. Still very simple room but stylish, beautifuly renovated. We checked in independently (key was waiting for us in the room). Great location- close to beautiful hikes, and many places to eat. We had an excellent breakfast at the hungry bear cafe a short drive away.”

“We were very disappointed. The current condition of the property did not match the photos. Room, dinning room and common areas were dirty, dusty and in need of maintenance. Did not expect this experience given the price and 4 star rating.”
