“The Days Inn in Natchez offered a warm greeting from the Staff and answered all our questions as far as they were able. The building is old and needs remodeling of which we met the painter. We had paint on the floor in our room without towels for use and had to go to the front desk to get the towels. We also noticed red lights on the phone which was annoying when trying to sleep. After contacting the staff, we were told they would take it off, but it never was taken off for the entire stay. ……
“Farrah was wonderful and made it fun. She told us the best places to eat and even took us to the Saloon where the locals like to go listen to live music. This experience was truly like being with friends instead of hotels that just make you feel that you are just an unknown room number.”
“The owners made you feel at home in their beautiful old home. The backyard bluff view of the river was very nice with nice chairs. Very quiet and serene. Highly recommend for a nice stay on the north side of town”
“This place is a treasure! We stayed in the next door property owned by the same people and both homes are so charming! The rooms were all quite big and they even gave us the room that adjoined another! Everything was clean and well organized. The bed was very comfortable and everything was just so thoughtfully designed. Eleanor and Ron were perfect hosts. If you have the chance, this place is worth the visit. Thank you for a wonderful experience!”
“An absolutely Divine Stay! June was Hot but the charming pool was a refreshing quench at the end of the day. Big beach towels in a cute pool bag were provided in the room for us. The complementary tour of the house was gorgeous! The Garden & Veranda areas were well maintained and in full bloom. Our Hosts were most Gracious & the Ladies of their staff are very attentive, accommodating and just precious, wonderful people. The Douglas room on the 1st floor had easy access to everything. “When you stay at The Pillars, you’re transported to yesteryear, when things were quieter, softer, more genteel than present day. Even the house cats seem relaxed, as they casually study the guests and decide to offer you their welcome. The surroundings, from decor to bed linens are sumptuous, and the overall feeling is one of quiet discovery as you imagine yourself living there in a different century.”
“Absolutely wonderful. Very nice house. Tastefully decorated with a lot of oil paintings and antiques . Coleen was an excellent host. Breakfast was a fruit cup with yogurt, chicken and waffles, coffee and juice. Big and Belle were loving fur babies. Absolutely a 10+.”
“We loved our stay at Riverboat Bed and Breakfast!!! We were met by Mary Beth who was absolutely wonderful. The historical home was gorgeous and so accommodating. We only stayed one night, which next time I won’t make that mistake lol, so we didn’t have much time there but we definitely enjoyed every minute of our trip. I can’t wait to go back!!! ❤️”
“I have stayed at other historic homes in Natchez and Dunleith is by far the best! Love this place and will return!! Our room was beautiful, modern and extremely clean! The food at the Castle restaurant is the BEST I have ever had. Fabulous anniversary for us!!! ”
