Great place to stay

It's a great place to stay. The hotel staff are very friendly. The only problem is that the maid would open our room in the morning without knocking. The hotel should provide "Don't disturb" door hangers.

Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und sehr sauber. Das Hotel ist nicht mehr ganz neu und etwas hellhörig, insgesamt aber sehr zu empfehlen!

Zum Zeitpunkt meiner Reise wurde das Hotel renoviert, was jedoch vorher nicht erwähnt wurde. Ich wurde ein paar hundert Meter weiter im Hotel Admiral untergebracht. Die Einrichtung war sehr rustikal, die Zimmertüren haben eher wie Türen zu Abstellräumen gewirkt. Frühstück war okay, hat für eine solide basis für den Tag gesorgt.

There is no lift from the ground floor up to the elevator. Guests must carry heavy bags up several steps to the level of the first elevator.

Tiny rooms - just a bed, nothing more. VERY noisy hotel - you can hear everything from all other apartments on the floor.

Great location and good breakfast

The location was excellent between two metros stations; each about 6 minutes walk. Very close to museums, bars, restaurants and shops. The buffet breakfast (7-10 am daily) was simple but good - bread rolls with cheese or ham and butter; cornflakes, muesli, yogurt, tinned fruit, tea, coffee, juice and water. The room was comfortable and very quiet at night. Fairly spacious with two arm chairs but no fridge or kettle. It was clean and cleaned daily. Free excellent wifi (as everywhere in Vienna).

Hotel in günstiger Lage. Zimmer soll demnächst renoviert und modernisiert werden. Es war groß, die Möbel so la la, Bett ok, aber das Duschbad grenzwertig, eng, schlechtes Licht, uralt. Kostenloses Frühstück hatte Mindeststandart, billiger Käse, billiger Schinken, Yoghurt und Dosenobst. Na ja, mehr war auch nicht zu erwarten. Alles in allem günstig, Angebot preisgerecht. Personal sehr freundlich.

Hotel ideale per la visita della città

Esperienza nel complesso gradevole. In posizione centrale e nello stesso tempo silenziosa dove poter tornare a fine giornata ma anche per un breve stop per depositare i sacchetti dopo lo shopping nei dintorni. Se la sera si è stanchi e non si vuole fare troppo strada, a due passi si trova uno dei caffè storici di Vienna "Sperl" dove mangiare o bere qualcosa, leggere i giornali e assistere alle partite a bigliardo del gruppo anziani del quartiere.

国立歌劇場、楽友協会から徒歩圏内の上地下鉄の駅からも非常に近い。しかも、繁華街のすぐ裏手でありながら、静かで良かった。 国立歌劇場へ通う事が目的の旅行だったので、大変便利でした。 部屋も充分な広さで満足しています。

Excellent location

Great hotel, close to all the main sights, a fantastic price, great breakfasts, free internet, lots of useful information on display. I would book here again. Occasionally a little noisy at weekend nights if you keep your windows open.

Hotel molto comodo e ottimo prezzo. Vicino al centro e mezzi pubblici: Metro e tram. Il personale dell'hotel è molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo avuto un problema di salute ( stato febbrile di mia moglie ) e il personale ci ha aiutato alle quattro del mattino a trovare una farmacia aperta che ci ha permesso di risolvere il problema. Poi in giro con i mezzi molto attivi abbiamo visitato gran parte della città.

Good place and great position

The hotel is fine and in a great position, near Mariahilfe strasse, Karlsplatz and several metro lines. The single room is small but with all what is necessary; breakfast is in the average but not particularly rich

Chose it online based on 4* rating - really 2*

Expected a 4* hotel so was greatly disappointed on arrival to find a small, run down old hotel. We were given a small double room (not consistent with booking via Expedia). Only positive aspect was the friendliness of staff.
