"This is a great hotel on the southern coast. It was a perfect stop over for us. The room was huge, tea kettle was a huge bonus and the breakfast was solid. Would recommend"

Paradise Cottages

"It was a nice self-contained cabin with WC/shower, stovetop, small refrigerator, and bedroom. Had a great view to the green hillside opposite. Easy check-in/check-out. Bedroom needed to be about a foot wider/longer to get to both sides of the bed, but we made it work. Water pressure was a bit funky, pulsing at times, but again functional. Kitchen was adequately equipped to do your cooking. Overall good."

"Among the best stays my wife and I had in Iceland. Very friendly staff, Eva was terrific and we chatted a bit upon our arrival. We wish her the best during her time in Iceland, if she reads this! You made our stay delightful! Breakfast is amazing here, lots of hot and cold options and a few extras not offered in other breakfasts too, cod liver oil for one. The rooms were quite clean, well ventilated, lots of parking, and great showers that are contained and not the typical European shower that gets waters everywhere with no lip/seperated shower area. Much appreciate this. Easy to clean fiberglass shower unit, great design choice by the owners, kudos. Also has great ventilation, comfy beds, would stay here mulitiple nights. Only con is that the nearest town is Vik, which is about 10-15 mins away. Overall, would stay again! Thanks again, Eva!"

"This was a stunning place, the photos don’t do justice. It was so luxurious and aesthetic, overlooking the black beach. So quiet and pretty. I am glad we picked this place Kitchen and gadgets were top notch, shower was amazing, very spacious, ample space for everything. Parking was very convenient too."
