“The house, the location, the amenities were just what we needed. For those wondering about what's in the kitchen, they have a drip coffee maker - keurig machine in one. We didn't use the keurig machine, only the drip coffee maker. There were more than enough coffee filters. You just need to bring your own coffee grounds. Trash bags, dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, liquid hand soap in the toilets, toilet paper, a roll of paper tower for the kitchen were provided. You just need to supply your……

“The property was very adequate for our large family group with lots of room for kids to play. Beds were comfortable and the big dining table was great for family meals. The house needs some maintenance upkeep. Sliding screen door was sitting on the outdoor table. The grill was unusable and the pull out couch was broken. The downstairs shower curtain needs to be replaced. We did enjoy the cool weather of Beech Mountain and the fireworks were amazing.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain house. It is very well-equipped and nice spacious rooms. We liked how every bedroom had its own bathroom. The house is in very close proximity to many outings such as Blowing Rock, Boone, and Grandfather mountain winery. The owner was super to communicate with throughout the stay. Can’t recommend this house enough!”

“Good:Walkable to shopping, bars, resturants, parking was easy, host was accommodating and easy to communicate with.Could be better:House is dark, could be an easy fix with better lighting or even replacing lightbulbs (many were out throughout the house-was stated in other reviews as well). Needs to be addressed:The beds are terrible, seemingly old mattresses. We left a day early because we could not sleep another night on the beds. They need to be replaced. “Very pretty remodel. We only got to stay one night so didn’t really get to use any of the amenities. The host is very communicative and friendly. Parking was a bit difficult in a truck, especially at night if you had to leave. Also, be prepared for a rough road to the house, again, especially at night. Inside is great! Bedding smelled very fresh and good. Beds are very firm. The different style and thickness of pillows on the beds are very thoughtful. The additional a/c units were very much……

“House was as listed, very clean. The pond was excellent for my dogs to swim in. Nice location with lots of waterfalls nearby. I went to 4 different ones that were all roadside, no hiking to get to. Several others nearby but required short hikes and it was rainy when I was there so drove on some really good trails. One was Anthony’s Creek Road. Drive the whole length, gets muddy but was beautiful. Also, old NC 105, was rough but doable in a 2 wheel drive truck or SUV. Would not recommend……
