「Room was exceptionally clean and beds were comfortable」

「Everything about this hotel was excellent. But the best thing of all was the breakfast. They had more items than I could possibly count. My favorite was the “Daniel Boone Inn” country ham. It’s the best around. They of course had biscuits and gravy, eggs, potatoes, hash brown casserole, fantastic coffee and 10+-varieties of bagels. It didn’t end there. I should have videoed it. If you’re going to the high country of North Carolina you should stay there and see for yourself.」

「The staff at the hotel were superb. They were attentive and took care of every need in such a friendly and efficient way. Rooms are new clean spacious.」

「The staff and amenities were great! Breakfast was hot and well stocked! We enjoy the pool alone twice on our trip. Only down side was our room was not very clean, stains on the sheets, shower and floor were dirty and it smelled a little bit. We also did not use the WiFi due to having to make an account but that was our choice.」

「There was little to like here. The room was average, only basic bathroom toiletries, no blanket or fold out luggage rack. Breakfast was low quality. Staff was unaccommodating and rude , particularly the female day manager. Will not be visiting here again, and perhaps no HIE. They are cut rate on most everything.」

「Very clean older but updated property. Good breakfast w/ eggs, bacon & toast or French toast included. Beautiful surroundings. Shower pressure was low but sufficient. Friendly staff.」

「The hotel was great, great location. Our room was right on King St so just be mindful of the street noise. They do provide noise machines in the room in case you need it. We will stay here again.」
