"The Chalet at Chateau DuMont was lovely and we are so glad we had the opportunity to stay in the unit. The house was well-appointed, beautiful stone and hardwood floors throughout. The bathrooms were updated and in keeping with the style of the community. We explored the grounds and found a wonderful man-made waterfall out the back door. "This property is both "retro" and modern, with lots of nice touches. The Over Yonder restaurant is located in the lobby, and it has very good upscale Southern fare. The only thing to note about this place is they don't have breakfast for free or for purchase, with the exception that the Over Yonder restaurant has brunch from 10 am to noon on Saturday and Sunday. There are fridges in the room, and a microwave in the lounge. This is a great base to explore the area, and has a lot of character. It's a lot more fun than a Comfort Inn or Holiday Inn type place (if you don't need a pool and gym and free breakfast)."

"We had a family gathering for my 60th Birthday with my kids and grandkids. I found this property and I have to say it was perfect. I have stayed in Boone many times over the years but this was by far the best.Our host was incredible and was so easy to communicate with. The property was beautiful, clean, and centrally located. Every one enjoyed the relaxing environment and they all want to go back.Thank you so much Tammy for being a part of my family getaway and celebration."
