「Blowing Rock is a beautiful little town. Unfortunately, big conglomerates are buying up the small hotel properties, and the personal service that was once the rule is now lacking entirely. We stayed at Azalea Inn and were disappointed. To start, we had to go to a different property to check in. During our whole stay, there was never any staff onsite at Azalea. The grounds are lovely, but it's an old building. We stayed in a "deluxe" room for our anniversary, but had to climb a dark, smelly...
