「We stayed at the Azalea Garden Inn from Oct 26th to the 30th & our room A15 was absolutely filthy dirty. There was dust & dirt in the corners & the floors were extremely dirty. Our socks were black on the bottom from walking in the room. The room obviously needs a deep cleaning.」

「This hotel was totally unexpected. The personal touches that they add are enchanting! Each room is unique and the thought behind them is incredible. They offer a coffee bar during the day and a wine bar in the evening. We were even able to have a free movie outside with popcorn! This is an amazing place! The lobby is like a public living room and there are seating areas with firepits in multiple locations. It is totally walkable to downtown Highlands . . which is so charming! Stay here!」

「Stayed in the main inn. Room and bathroom large and very clean. Furnishings lovely. Amenities in room a plus. Hotel needs outside exterior work and better directions for parking and guest entrance. I entered thru the back where the parking lot is. Breakfast was complimentary and plentiful and very good. Inn is gorgeous inside, with many nice sitting areas and dining rooms. Excellent venue for weddings and family reunions. Dining Room and Bar were not open. I stayed on a Sunday, so may have been...

「Wonderful in every way! Truly feel honored that we were able to experience it.」

「Property was conveniently located to historic downtown and the Riverwalk. When was clean and bright and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and the property manager. Sherri was very nice. He gave us some good ideas of things to do. I would highly recommend this place.」

「Outstanding host! Highly recommended.」

「The Inn was cozy and very clean and neat. The owners were very considerate towards dietary needs and worked hard to make breakfast pleasant and informative. I enjoyed the assistance they gave with both general and detailed knowledge of the local area and history. It was also a very convenient walk to the beach and I appreciate them letting us some beach chairs for the day. We had a very quiet and restful stay.」

「A nice quiet getaway. We witnessed a beautiful proposal at the gazebo. Our first choice of cabin had to be changed due to some cleanliness issue. It was taken care of quickly and we were able to get into another cabin.」

「This place is beautiful and the location is perfect! We met the host and she was super helpful and friendly. This will be a place we return to when we are in Bryson City! This was a girl trip with four of us. We stayed very comfortably.」
