“We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was clean and pleasant. The only feedback that I would give are the pans in the kitchen. The kitchen is stocked well but the pans are not really made for a glasstop stove. They need to be flat on the bottom not rounded so that they will heat up faster. We wanted to use the fireplace on the coldest night but it wouldn't come on. We think that perhaps the propane was empty. But those are just minor things. “Great location. Easy to get to downtown Banner Elk. Grandfather Mountain is about 30 min away. Charging port was a super handy addition as there are not a lot of chargers nearby. Works seamlessly with Tesla but will need the adapters that come with your Tesla.No A/C but we stayed in late June and it was forecasted to be very warm in the local area but the elevation, screened windows, and included fans make it a non-issue.It deserves all the 10/10 reviews.”

“Great location! We walked to Fred’s general store and deli. The sledding hill was only a short walk too. We were looking for snow and we found plenty of it there for our kids to enjoy! The place had 2 living rooms and fireplaces which was great. Kids loved playing the arcade game. Kitchen was well equipped. Hot tub on deck by the flowing creek was very relaxing. We saw lots of deer in the front yard and by the creek. Would stay here again! ”

“The property was very adequate for our large family group with lots of room for kids to play. Beds were comfortable and the big dining table was great for family meals. The house needs some maintenance upkeep. Sliding screen door was sitting on the outdoor table. The grill was unusable and the pull out couch was broken. The downstairs shower curtain needs to be replaced. We did enjoy the cool weather of Beech Mountain and the fireworks were amazing.”

“We've stayed at Beech a ton of times and this was by far the most updated and cleanest place we've been in. Typically if it's pet friendly you can see or detect dog hair, but that was not the case. My husband even asked if I was sure that it was. Ha! My teens loved the basement set up and the fire pit/hot tub and my dog loved the side yard! The owners were super responsive and there to help with any small issues that came up!! Highly recommend!”
