“Fantastic house - all as per description - with very friendly hosts. Up the hills but close to parma and Bologna (1,5 hours). Great beds and fully equipped kitchen with fantastic plancha- BBQ. Great for hikes and to to enjoy nature. Cool in the evenings so did not need an airco. Plenty trees and shade. Would go again in a hart beat”

“We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family.”

“What a beautiful place to stay. Literally an Italian villa in the countryside. We had 12 people stay here for 8 nights. Plenty of privacy, bedrooms, bathrooms. Would absolutely stay here again. The caretakers Gabriella and her husband were perfect hosts and very helpful! He even carried our luggage in and out for us! ”

“The photos don't do this property justice.Nicely appointed for a modern home. Well furnished and kitted out for outdoor living in the beautiful hills of the Italian countryside.Impeccably clean. Comfortable bed.Warm reception by Daniela & her Dad. The only point of caution is that you need a car with good chassis clearance since part of the road to get there is off the beaten track. ”

“this was such a lovely flat - would the weather had been kinder to us so we could eat on one of the terraces - next time! Alberto is a hugely responsive host - replies immediately to any message - and has furnished the flat thoughtfully and attractively. It's right in the middle of town but quiet and peaceful - a short walk to everything we wanted to see. Highly recommended.”

“This wonderful home is a nice reprieve from the bustle of Bologna. ”

“Wir hatten in diesem Kleinod eine wunderbare Zeit. Wer raus aus dem Trubel und Natur erleben will, der kann von diesem Ort aus sehr schöne Ausflüge machen und wandern..Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war perfekt, Check-in und Check-out liefen reibungslos, das Apartment ist nett eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Kochen und leben braucht.”

“Leider hat das mit dem Parkplatz nicht geklappt. Es hat keinen zugewiesenen Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück wie auf Hotels.com vermerkt. Die Anweisung war unklar und zu spät. Wir irrten fast eine Stunde in der Altstadt von Modena umher und mussten anschliessend einen teuren Parkplatz bezahlen. Die Wohnung war ok und zentral.”
