"A really quirky and nice property in great grounds. Need to book restaurant in advance as reading reviews often dull and not much in the area and nothing else walkable. Overall a nice stay - great spa, lovely grounds. Special mention to Raphael who helped us 👍"

"We booked À la Mainguère at quite short notice, for a quiet night before catching our ferry back to England the next day. Well I have to say, that after one night, we want to book again and for longer! What a fabulous place to stay and with just perfect hosts too. "The hotel looks a little shabby from the exterior however once you enter your room it is a whole new experience. The room was clean, had a coffee machine, comfy bed and pillows and flat screen TV. plenty of wardrobe space. Bathroom had a great shower, large lit mirror, hairdryer, heated towel rail and clean soft towels. Room had controllable heating too."
