"An amazing service in an amazing location! We'd managed to accidentally double book, but the staff offered to refund one, even though they didn't have to! Breakfast was exceptional, massive choice and quality. We also dined in their Saigon restaurant, which is well worth a visit. Take mozzy spray, the lake does attract these unfortunately - the hotel does have plug-in repellents and flyscreens on the patio doors, but the odd one will still get in. The views and room are worth the risk, so don't let this put you off!"

"Great location (5 minute walk from the Night Market), very polite, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast (try the french toast!), great rooms, good price. You can also book several tours for a good price. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The pick-up service to Hanói airport is worth it (18$), because you won,t pay less than 25 for a regular taxi."

"We booked a medium range 4 star boutique hotel in old quarter and found the condition unacceptable. It was late for me and my family after 17 hour flight. We walked around and a local hotel receptionist took us to Royal Palace hotel because their hotel was fully booked. We were so happy that we didn't made to stay in our original arrangement. The 2 rooms we stayed in for 2 nights were fantastic. Clean, spacious, the staffs are FANTASTIC! The hotel even allow us to pay partial fee for an extended check out. As we speak, we are still in our room resting ( traveling with elder parents) before our flight departs tonight. Continental breakfast was fantastic as well. The few days we stayed they changed up the menu for variety. "
