My room was so clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff were always friendly with a smile on their faces. There was one employee who was a male, he was exceptional, it’s unfortunate I didn’t get his name but he worked at the front desk. He would always open the door with a beautiful smile. Thank you to this gentleman. The beach view was breathtaking as usual. Easy and safe parking. Thank you guys.

I loved the beach view and staff. I did not like that there isn’t a hose outside to wash off the sand and parking was also full. We had to park in the overflow parking but no body knew how to open it or who had the key to the gate.

There was no parking!! We had to park in the overflow parking lot next to the hotel in the lot next door and I have COPD and the place had an unpleasant smell especially the elevator?? Would have been a good place for a stick up!! It was our first trip to Virginia Beach and our last we will go back to Carolina beaches from now on

If you want a full oceanfront view do not book a king bed with a jetted tub. The building has a wall that protrudes to your right and blocks your view including view of the pier. Stay in a room without a whirlpool in your room and you will love it there.

After driving for 12 hrs, arriving before 3PM, to find out check-in is not until 4PM, starts off the stay kind of sour. Expedia needs to do better and the hotel should tell Expedia they do not serve breakfast so customers don’t purchase that option!

first off the parking is terrible you have to park in a lot that is open to the public for the beach, next the room smelled like smoke the property had trash all around it, the room needed updated , the room was dirty, and the there was hairballs and bugs in the corners. The area was atrocious and the maids only came upon request. if there would have been another hotel with a vacancy we would have left'.

Ocean view is the only good thing about this his very outdated hotel. A lot of bugs and mosquitoes on the balcony which made it hard to enjoy the balcony. Shower takes a while to get hot and the hot water runs out. Additional negatives…Only one elevator, tiny pool, and no beach access from the rear of hotel. Would not stay here again or recommend.

The view was incredible and staff was very helpful/nice! Rooms were clean. You can see wear and tear throughout the rooms/building, but nothing that felt unsafe or unsanitary. Great location too, right near the pier and playground.
