Location was amazing.. right on ocean . Walking distance to eateries and shopping. On boardwalk. Chairs in living room needed vacuuming and couch was uncomfortable otherwise it was perfect.

The parking is SUPER tight and the beds are extremely firm. Not something I like so made the stay a little uncomfortable for me. The location and the staff were amazing. My kids loved the ice cream social they had! The condo was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook! I would definitely consider staying here again if the beds were not so uncomfortable for me.

The unit was dated but very clean. The beds were comfortable. However, there were a fingernail left in yhe sleeper sofa. The balcony was spacious and the view of the ocean was great.

Great location. Really enjoyed our time here. The only issue was that the pool is located directly in front of the balcony, so you don't have a clear view of the beach, and you have the noise etc from the pool, if you want to enjoy a bit of quiet on the balcony. We would definitely stay at this location again just not in this unit because of the balcony location.

I like that it was a two bed two bath condo right on the beach. The views your fabulous from the balcony looking onto boardwalk and the beach. I plan to make another reservation. Staff were so friendly, helpful and courteous.

My family absolutely had the best time staying at The Colony. There was plenty of space for the six of us. The views from the balcony were beautiful. There were a few items like one side of the toaster and a burner that didn't work but nothing that affected our stay. The value for the money was fabulous. I have stayed in much smaller hotels for more than I paid for this entire condo. I can promise anytime we are headed to VA beach, my family will be picking The Colony every time.

After reading some of the reviews, I had already lowered my expectations. I understand that many times there are trade offs for being beachfront. The space was clean for the most part & while it could use an update, it was more than adequate. The washer in our unit is in need of repair/replacement but the small inconveniences did not have a major impact on our stay. Parking was the biggest issue as the lot is rather tight. Overall, I would certainly consider staying on this property in the future.

Other than a “one bug” citing, the property is very dated but clean. Beds and linens are great. Nothing better than listening to the crashing waves as you sleep.

Our stay at The Colony, was great! The front desk clerk was very kind and knowledgeable. Check in was smooth with no problems. The unit was clean, the kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils and cookware. A nicely sized ocean view balcony, steps away from the beach. There were fun activities for kids and adults staying at the resort, and my grandgirls thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The pool was clean and very enjoyable. While the pool area is small, it was top notch with tables, chairs, and lounging chairs that were nice and comfy for adults. We noticed several improvements being made to the units during our stay. The bathrooms are small, but very clean and noticeable upgrades had been made. Overall it was a great stay at The Colony! Thank you, and my family and I look forward to seeing you again.
