「Spacious home with everything we needed for a weeks stay. Outside area was perfect and pool lovely. Great location, private and not overlooked and close enough to supermarkets. All mod cons you would expect and want. 4 double beds, great air con. Have marked down a little on cleaning, but wasn’t anything I couldn’t fix myself. 」

「Gorgeous setting! Beautiful home and wonderful hosts. The wine tour by Paul was amazing. Philippa and Paul were very communicative and accommodating ! Only one comment- this is very beautiful and very remote. Closest supermarket 40 min away and the long and winding single lane roads to the home may be very intimidating to some. Should not drive these roads after dark. But for us it was worth it. 」

「Arrivés la nuit sous la pluie, avec comme adresse le code qui permet d'ouvrir une boite contenant les clefs. Enfin, après trois heures de recherches, grâce aux locaux rencontrés, nous avons enfin trouvé la maison et la personne qui devait nous accueillir. Lits inconfortables, pas de couverture, télé qui ne fonctionne pas etc.. Nous avons tenté de contacter l'agence soit par téléphone, (numéros fournis par Abritel)soit par mail, aucune réponse, nous étions livrés à nous mêmes, ce n'est vraiment...

「Our group has traveled to several different countries with stays in private villas. the Fox House was by far our favorite location so far! The photos of the property were nothing compared to our first walk around the property with Mafalda and Miguel. Gracious hosts who attended our every need with grace and a friendly smile. 「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the mill house. At our arrival, we were greeted by Henrique and he filled us in on some of the fascinating history of the home. The mill house was warmly decorated, comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed great day trips in the area, but always came home to our peaceful quinta. We were met with the scent of orange blossoms, took advantage of the wonderful meal delivered to our door, walked through the vineyard, and shared a glass of Port next to the river....

「We spent a long weekend in this beautiful villa and loved everything about it. The welcome from the host was personal and helpful, the villa was immaculately clean and decorated in a classic style, the location and grounds were beautiful - we would recommend it to anyone.」
