This place was great especially for a larger group. Amazing view from front window and very convenient and close to Volcano National Park. Easy check in and checkout as well!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Rustic but comfortable and everything needed for our trip. Check-in was easy. Manager worked with us to coordinate status from volcano eruption and road closures.
Secluded. Tropical property. Comfortable, roomy, fresh fruit, coffee, packaged breakfast provided.
We loved this place. It was quirky and laid back. I found myself wishing every day of my Hawaiian vacation started and ended here instead of just an overnight.

Room clean, quiet, with working appliances. Faith- based decorations were appreciated.
Room had odour of mold
This is a fantastic spot if you’re spending time at Volcanoes National Park. Shannon and her husband were great hosts. The room was very nice and had a water fall feature that really added to the ambiance and enhanced our experience there. They had e-bikes available that gave us a unique experience in the park. Wish we had spent 2 nights.
Very close to national park. Hosts friendly and supply stuff for breakfast. Not luxury but clean and comfortable
All night hear birds or frogs or something which is nice background
This was a very comfortable place to stay very close to the national park. We were there for a very short stay but were very happy with our accommodations.

Disliked: Amenities
Check-in was a bit challenging as we had to walk aroung and check rooms and then guess which was ours, The room is a bit eclectic as the shower floor is some combination of rocks and ?? The room has some smell likely due to volcano water. The lavatubes apparently haven't been anything for some years. The room wass somewhat clean and no insects visible. The TV set had one volume.
Overall it worked but no more.
Nice place to stay! The property is lush with beautiful flowers, and the host answered all our questions and gave us great local recommendations. Only ten minutes’ drive to the park. Would definitely stay again.
Loved the secluded feel of the property, I felt like I was in my own little space. Definitely a one-of-a-kind place to stay! Shannon was a great host (and has the cutest little dog!) and long time resident of the area who shared a lot of knowledge about the volcano with me.

Great location
Our room was a cross between a hotel and glamping. Nothing fancy, very basic. Great location if visiting the Hawaii Volcano National Park (which we were). Good value for the cost
