Four Seasons Lodge

"The room was nice and clean. Had everything we needed. One complaint i have is that the refrigerator froze our food we put in it. Also, it would have been nice to have a designated potty area for dogs. My dog won't go potty if he doesn't smell that another dog has. So that was hard being up on the 2nd floor in the back going up and down. Its just a suggestion to make it easier on dog owners. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay."

"This 1930's hotel was a delight to stay in. Keep in mind that this hotel still has so much of the original infrastructure, the electrical would be insane to fully update as well as the plumbing etc. The owners try to keep the old world charm that this hotel is known for but that comes with not always having the up to date conveniences that we are all used to. Sure they only have portable AC units but to upgrade the electrical in that building would drive the cost of room stays up to much higher amounts. To renovate the bathrooms and plumbing would do the same. We personally loved the throw back to the early 1900's feel this place had. The owners are just wonderful hardworking people. We had a flight issue and were delayed by hours and would miss check in. One call and the owner texted me directions on how to self check in and also told me to get food in Colorado Springs before making the drive as all restaurants in the town are closed early. They checked on us the next day making sure we were comfortable and happy. Support these local owners, they put alot into this place!! This is the place we will stay when in Monte Vista!!"

"This lodge was perfect for our one night stay before an early morning hike. We had 3 beds, a clean bathroom, shampoo (etc), coffee, a nice TV. Only advice would be to bring a blanket as the bedding was a little light. We really appreciated being able to stay here given the prices at other similar places. The outside might seem a little old school, but in the best eat, So clean and comfortable inside."

"Our stay at the Mellow Moon Lodge was lovely. Contact free check-in and check out was super easy. Sometimes that can feel cold, but Lauren checked in on us and made sure we felt welcome. The Canteen was well appointed with really neat products and necessities. Our room was lovely and comfortable, and I loved all the furnishings and touches."

"This was the best vacation rental we’ve stayed at for our yearly family trip to Creede. It was super clean, spacious, with very nice amenities. The hosts were kind and responsive. The only thing we struggled with was accessing the property since the address didn’t quite match in Apple maps but we were able to figure it out pretty quickly. For future visitors, don’t forget to check your email for detailed instructions prior to your stay!We would absolutely love to stay here again with a bigger group if we can next year."
