Wonderful hotel. Close to hiking trails, restaurants. Very accommodating. Walked out to meet taxi for us at 0430am on our departure and packed a breakfast for us to take with us.

I love this hotel. I stay here whenever I come to the Tatras whenever possible. The hotel is very quaint, the food is excellent and the staff is superb.

Great stay in June and July with Greenwood Hotel. The booking process was easy through Hotels.com, but impossible if trying to book direct. The front desk staff was absolutely fantastic and helped us book a car rental when our initial reservation was cancelled by the company. The only downside is that we didn’t have great wifi from our room, so we had to get creative when it came to finding access in town, but this was a minor inconvenience compared to the awesome front desk staff service.

Kleine und feine Unterkunft mitten in der Tatra. Von hier aus ist vieles ohne Zuhilfenahme von Verkehrsmitteln zu erwandern. Der Ort bietet einige sehr gute Restaurants.

Great place to stay in the Tatras

We enjoyed our stay at the Greenwood hotel. It was slightly hard to find even with the instructions provided by the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and we felt really welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and modern. The curtains could be better, though; they were very thin. The breakfast buffet was simle, but sufficient. What we didn't like, was that we paid an extra €5 to have a room with a mountain view. Even if the sky had been clear, we would have seen less of the mountain than the building site next door. Overall, though, an enjoyable stay!

Great Breakfast - tricky to find

Location was great! Walk to the trails! Tricky to find the hotel, and no signs to help. Best way in is through the right side gate at the Atrium Hotel. Breakfast was the best we have had on our trip. The bed was a little old and soft.

Awesome Hotel and Staff

Being close to where I live and work, I often get away on the weekends to the High Tatras. This is my “go to” place. The rooms are warm and cozy, clean and comfortable. The staff is absolutely wonderful, friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel highly!

Wonderful Staff!

My recent stay was not necessarily a pleasant one, but in no way would it detract from the Greenwood. The evening of the day I arrived, I suffered a slight mishap that required stitches. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure my safety. They drove me to the nearest clinic where I got medical attention. When I travel to this area, I attempt to book the Greenwood because it is a very nice, well kept hotel. But, the staff is always top notch. This less than pleasant personal experience proved even more that a hotel is only as good as the staff. This is a 5-star staff! Their kindness does not go unnoticed!
