Check in was good, restaurant and bar available, comfortable bed . The bathroom was tired and a bit shabby.

The staff are amazing at the Burlington - I've stayed there before and always had great service. It is right on the beach front, moments away from the pier, and about 5-10 minutes walk from the train station (I use a walking stick, so am slower) - you have to walk through town to get to the station. ...

There was a slight mix up at the beginning of our trip - (The owners had not received confirmation of our booking until we arrived so they were not aware of any visitors enroute to them until we phoned when we were 5 minutes away!) A little tired for such a lovely spot
The little tea shop is worth a visit. Very pleasant.
I went to Wadhurst Castle for a family wedding, and it was a stunning venue. Wadhurst is a much larger village than I had remembered from the 1970s; I was pleasantly surprised by its amenities and its accessibility to beautiful countryside.
