"We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The beds and couches were comfortable, and our family especially enjoyed playing pool and spending time fishing from the dock. The host was wonderful and very quick to respond anytime we had a question.The only things we would mention are the long, narrow driveway and the number of steps down to the dock. Both are clearly stated in the listing, but we definitely underestimated just how many steps there were! Not really an issue with the property, just something future guests may want to keep in mind.Overall, we had a great stay, made some wonderful family memories, and would definitely recommend this lake house!"

"This cabin was a nice retreat for us. It is in a great location on the lake and in a quiet cove. Just enough room for everyone without a lot of wasted space. Very good set-up for the price. You can get a place that costs more and has more frills, but if you are coming to the lake to get out on the water, have a nice place to swim, enjoy some family time and stay at a functional and friendly place then this is a great fit."

"We stayed for 3 weeks with the kids and had an amazing time! The dock was perfect for swimming and the lake was so quiet and peaceful. We barely saw anyone else the whole time we were there. The house was spacious and comfortable. We had a great time."

"The house and property were very nice and clean. We rented a pontoon boat for a few days and used the lift at the dock. We enjoyed much time tubing and swimming. We enjoyed the hot tub and walking around the town of Wedowee. We also enjoyed a day hiking at Cheaha State Park. We have been renting VRBO homes for several years and this might be the best vacation we ever had."
