The beach is half sand and half reef which makes for lots of great surfing, bodyboarding, and snorkeling. In addition to the many tropical fish you are likely to spot sea turtles, dolphins and during the winter months whales playing in the waters just off shore. If you feel like exploring there are many beautiful sandy beaches nearby as well as numerous golf courses.
