You are welcome to bring along your Sky chip card as there is a Freeview decoder for your use at Waimea Cottage. In the chillier months, wrap up and throw a log on the fire to keep nice and warm.
If you fancy popping out for an evening, take a short seven-minute drive to Shoreline Cinema, a boutique cinema in the Waikanae township. Another option is a stroll to one of the local restaurants; Long Beach restaurant and Tavern, The Front Room and Los Locos Mexican Cantina ensure a great pick of cuisines! A bakery, a fish and chip shop, local supermarket and Waikanae Beach are also all within a short walk of Waimea Cottage, while the Waikanae Golf, Tennis, and Bowling Clubs are just a short drive from your holiday home.
