Our stay at the Ocean Tower was very relaxing. We had a room on the 8th floor overlooking the golf course. The room was very quiet. We were able to take wonderful excursions into the surrounding area and spend the afternoons by the pool again.

Paradise!

What a beautiful resort with amazing amenities and some great value!!! Close to beautiful beaches and the protected snorkeling reef was abundant with sea life! We would love to come back!

Great Hidden Gem

The room was upgraded and very comfortable. Excellent view of resort and even a bit of the ocean. Good value for the amenities. Would recommend this property.

Great place!!

I went to Hawaii with my sister and the place we stayed was perfect and amazing! The check in the checkout process was awesome and the location was even better. Will definitely go back.

Relaxing stay

Property has many amenities. My favorite was the private lagoon. While snorkeling there we saw sea turtles, rays, eels, and a large variety of tropical fish.

Love the updated room

We loved the updated room, extra space in this hotel room, the nice shower, and the kitchen with a microwave, good-sized fridge, and utensils. The hotel grounds are large (so a lot of walking), but the property is well-maintained and beautiful with multiple pools!

Anniversary Vaca

The resort is beautiful but the tram worked half the week and the boats in the canal did not work. The lagoon and the pools are amazing! The activites at the resort are wonderful. Waikola location is nice keep in mond walks are long pacl tennis shoes. Great stay!mind

Awesome resort

We stayed here when the original resort ran out of rooms and we had a conference to attend here. It worked out perfectly! The resort is huge and we got lots of steps in exploring all the different areas. Our room (2055) located on the main level of ocean tower was awesome, complete with kitchenette, balcony overlooking the golf course and ocean, eating area and couch and all newly renovated. We hope to come back!

This unit exceeded my expectations - the unit's design was aesthetically pleasing and very practical for a comfortable stay. The owner of this unit also did a fantastic job communicating regularly with me ahead of my stay so I knew what to expect. The property front desk and staff also were helpful when I was settling in and checking out. This was a fantastic deal and I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to stay in Kona at this Hilton resort facility!

Beautiful resort with many activities but very expensive with not many options for eating. Having a rental car is definitely worth it. Would absolutely go back for my nwxg vacation in Kona Hawaii

Comfortable Room

Comfortable, spacious room. Large refrigerator/freezer. As a “guest” of the owner you have free access to nice amenities including gym, lounge and free laundry. View not special, but pleasant greenery. Pretty long walk to the parking lot, tram available but not as fast or frequent as one might hope. Beautiful resort property.

Absolutely lovely retreat

This place offered everything you could ever wish for in a room and resort. Guests have access to gym, new experiences such as Thai chi, sound therapy, and paddle board yoga in the lagoon. Multiple pools and restaurants to feed your mind, most, and soul. Views are stunning and staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Eat walk into town for more adventures or take the resort shuttle van for a low cost. I highly recommend this place! You will not be disappointed!

Everything you could want

We had been to the Hilton Waikaloa before so we knew about the grounds being great, but we weren’t sure about our room. We were so pleasantly surprised. We had a view of the ocean and the lagoon and the bay. Our room had been remodeled in the last six months and it was amazing with the microwave, refrigerator and freezer, dishes for two and the coffee maker and toaster and hot water pot. Everything was perfect. We would love to stay in the same room again. Thank you so much.

Great Hawai’i Vacation spot

This room was beautiful and so comfortable to stay in. It was the nicest place we stayed in by far out of several hotels. The host was easy to deal with and very patient and understanding, even when I messed up the payment. The resort itself is huge and had a ton to do for all ages. It does not have an ocean beach, which was a downfall. However there is a lagoon with a beach and you can snorkel as it is ocean fed. I would highly recommend this Vrbo. Just be sure to check out the Queens market up the road so you’re not spending a fortune at the resort restaurants! Thanks for a great stay!

Nice Resort on the beach

The Hilton has changed over the years. They have gotten rid of their resident animals and koi ponds. There are less restaurants available now as well. The rooms have greatly improved with the Ocean Tower being a grand vacations resort. Our rooms were perfect, clean, updated with full sized refridgerator, microwave and sink; it more than made up for the limited restaurants as we could buy groceries locally. The shower and smart toilet in the bathrooms were also excellent. Free washers and dryers were available as well and not busy. I would recommend this resort.

Paradise at a great value!

We had an amazing stay at the Hilton Waikoloa! The room was really nice and updated and had a great ocean view! We even saw whales breaching! Those were all awesome and unexpected surprises! We thoroughly enjoyed the property and the ocean tower is definitely the nicest part the whole resort in terms of included sun loungers and ocean views! We feel like we got a great deal and loved all the unique included features: snorkling in the lagoon (brought our own gear), walking around all the grounds (usually had 13k-17k steps a day here!!), did paddleboard yoga class. We decided to splurge and did the dolphin experience!! But even if you don’t do this, you get to see these amazing animals right on the property every time you walk by! So cool!

Hawaiian Gem

This room was everything we could have asked for and more. We had all the amenities we needed. The only things I would mention about the property is the walk to the room is quite long from where the car drops you off. There is a tram, but it is slow and can take a while. We certainly got our steps in! The check in process also took a while, but that is the resort and not the host. The host was super responsive and professional. The grounds are incredible from dolphins to the ocean to the pools, everything was incredible. The view from the room was of the golf course and the ocean, so a little more private and quiet. We loved our stay and would definitely book again.
