「The house is great for a large family! It is conveniently located within walking distance to the marketplace. The hosts were very attentive and responded to us within minutes when we had questions. We really enjoyed the house, unfortunately the pool was not heated and the weather was on the colder side during our two week stay so the pool went mainly unused. If you are looking for a large house in proximity to beaches and activities this house fits the bill.」

It is kind of a boarding house situation with different guests in different bedrooms I missed that it wasn't air conditioned in the description. Temp was ok at night but pretty warm mid afternoon. 「Very nice house for a family or maybe 2 couples. The location is excellent - within easy walking distance to many of the South Shore's best beaches. Also, access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club was a great perk. The pool and restaurant there are comparable to many of the island's nicer resorts. If you are a scuba diver this house is a great home base for the various South Shore dive spots.」

「We stayed at Mahalo Hale for 4 nights in April 2026, and it was an awesome place !!Communication before and during our stay with the Host Lauren was quick and very helpful. We were a family with 9 adults and 1 child of 2yrs of age, and the house worked perfect. Lots of room to spread out, pool and jacuzzi were well used during the day and evening as well. 「Good access to Brennecke's Beach. Host tries, but is not in Hawaii ... if you need anything sorted out, it may not happen. Place is OK but being allowed to run down somewhat. Not all A/C units worked; we were fine, but this may be a problem in spring/summer/fall.」
