「This is a beautiful property! It was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the area as well. Lots of fun shopping and dining options nearby. We booked here to be close to our early morning Nāpali coast hike and it was perfect for that, only a 30 minute drive to the trail head. 「Beautiful ocean view, some friendly staff and a good pool. One hot tub was out so everyone was huddle in the very small hot tub which was a bummer. They don’t mention when you book they are undergoing major property renovations which I understand is needed but a heads up would have been great. The noise was frustrating when we want to relax by the ocean but I understand again, a heads up would have been nice. Rust all over our room which I understand in Hawaii but if I’m paying that much I don’t...

"Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
