「An old "dog friendly" cottage that has been modernized with double glazed windows, heat pump, new appliances (fridge, microwave, stove, tv ....). Very comfortable stay. It is opposite the boat launch and they launch boats from 4:00 am so take some earplugs. Good value for money.」

「We had a lovely stay in Kaikoura! Warm, cozy and spacious. What we loved more is the property is pet friendly and fully fenced so our dog is free to roam around. The property has all the amenities we need for a perfect stay. There's a trampoline, a swing and a slide which the kids fully enjoyed. The location is walking distance to town and the view of the mountains were just picture perfect. Also the host allowed us for an early check in, which is highly appreciated. Couldn't recommend it more...

「Amazing stay! We fell in love with the listing and were looking forward to this place, and it’s even better than it looks online. So peaceful and quiet. Lots of thoughtful little touches to make it even better. Beautiful cottage and grounds. Super pet friendly, the cottage is fully fenced so we could relax and our dog loved his off lead walks to the river and among the vines. The perfect place for a relaxing getaway, and we loved that the dog could come too 」

「The views were amazing! Fantastic for seal and dolphin watching. Beautiful sunrises. Only negative for us was the access which is initially steep over the railway track. We had a bike rack on the back of a ute and had to remove it to get over the first bit. A mention in the listing about this would have been helpful. Otherwise absolutely loved our days there.」
