Villa Retreat - secluded relaxation

Whether its a few days away, needing to get away, or passing through, our modern villa studio offers all the comforts of home. Our cosy studio has a comfortable bed with fresh linens, towels and WiFi. A complimentary continental breakfast is included in your stay. Set in a private garden, with off street parking. Perfect for guests with trailers & safe parking. A peaceful retreat where you can unwind and relax. Only 1 km from State highway 3 and 16 km to New Plymouth

Our studio has a lockbox key for your convenience. We have safe off street parking with room for cars and guests with trailers. Inside the studio is room darkening drapes so you can sleep soundly. For your comfort is an Aircon to keep you warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer. Our kitchenette offers all the basic cutlery and crockery needed during your stay with pots and 2 element cooker if you so choose to use.
Our Studio is set up for a cosy stay and we look forward to hosting you at Villa Retreat.

Was a great place to stay, as it turned out I knew the owners and had some excellent talks about people we knew and grew up with. Apart from that I would recommend this as one of the best, secluded places you could wish to stay close to town.

Cute villa with a stunning garden view

We stayed for one night on our way home to Auckland from Wellington. Annette and her husband are welcoming hosts. She helped us with dinner recommendations and things to do. Their garden knowledge is fantastic and they were very happy to share their knowledge and experience with us. A lovely relaxing place with a very comfy bed and atmosphere.

Peaceful paradise

A beautiful little gem. Only stayed the one night but will definately book again. Annette had some delicious home baked choc chip biscuits waiting for us and a personalised welcome sign. Those little touches set this place apart from your usual motel stay. Gorgeous gardens, immaculately clean, comfortable and warm.

The property was a delightful suite located on a beautiful property. The hosts, Annette and Kerry were warm and welcoming and the cookies and muffins delicious. The suite itself had everything we needed and was spotless and very comfortable. Annette and Kerry’s garden is really lovely, and provided a serene, quiet and very private setting for our stay. It was easy to get to Mt. Taraniki for Hikes and the beaches of New Plymouth for swimming. We would highly recommend this property.
