"I was nervous about staying here after reading some reviews, but im glad i did!!!! IT WAS SO CLEAN! From the lobby to my room. I stayed on the 3rd floor. Front desk workers were friendly and hospitable the entire stay. No bugs of any kind! Clean towels. My only 2 complaints - dont get the room right by the elevator, the ding is SO loud - my bed was quite hard which didn't make for a comfortable sleep, I prefer a bit of give to my mattress. Other than that, everything was great! Excellent value...

"This property has so much potential! It was clean and the room fit our needs. There should be coffee cups and a tray at the coffee maker space. Sprucewood looks like a project in progress which is great, but attention should be paid to the entrance area to make it more inviting. There are some wonderful landscape pieces around the building but the weeds need to be pulled and mulch or river rock laid around the plantings. "I chose this place knowing the bad reviews and terrible conditions, expecting the worst, and it did not surprise me. It was dirty, and dilapidated. The tiles and wallpaper were falling off the walls. The owner was friendly, but the room was truly awful. He said that he didn't have my reservation, but could rent me a room he wasn't planning on renting out due to issues. Not sure whether to summate this as a good or a bad thing.
