"Charmingly appointed studio uphill from town of Lenzkirch in Southern Black Forest. Private balcony with nice views was perfect for breakfast and sitting in the evening. The only slightly minor initial inconvenience was having to get the key at a different location. Owners Christine & Gunther were very easy to communicate with and provided many local suggestions via the rental guidelines which they kindly translated into English before our arrival. :) ‘Loved our stay in the Black Forest!!"

It is a great location, walking distance to the city center (or the Strassenbahn is at the end of the block), close to restaurants, but tucked away on a quiet street. After staying in hotels for the rest of the trip, it was great to spend some time in a traditional German apartment with some character and charm. There was more than enough space for the 6 of us, and we would absolutely stay there again. Thanks for being a great host Tanja!!"

"This place is awesome! Almost perfect. Located in a peaceful village surrounded by countryside scenery that is just amazing. The house is huge: On the upper floor, there are 2 large double-bed bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, in addition, there is another double-bed bedroom and 2 smaller bedrooms each of which with 2 twin beds. "Neighbourhood was great with proximity to forest paths, river and the famous Titisee and Schluchsee. The "detached quiet cottage for 4" left a lot to be desired. Transparency on costs per night: apparently price on Vrbo is for 2 persons, with each additional person at 15.80USD per night on my booking. Cleanliness: Living room sofa was full of hair from a previous occupant. The bed in the childrens room had traces of confetti or sweets from a previous occupant. Communication: Nothing...

"Amazing hotel we have used one like this before and so good to be able to cook and have a fridge room size amazing bathroom so good and all so clean and very good staff on arrival would recommend to all to use this hotel so close to team and a big supermarket that you can get everything from fresh frozen and cooked food and even eat there as well "
