We had a wonderful weekend getaway! The house was very comfortable and well-equipped with everything you need to cook meals and enjoy your stay. My kids especially loved the "bunk room" — it gave them their own space and added some privacy while sharing a room.One thing to note, check-in isn’t until 5 PM, so be sure to plan your travel day accordingly. It’s a good idea to have a local activity lined up if you arrive early.

This place is just as it says. Great views and great location. We stayed with our pup and he can run right out the backdoor and play in the sand near the fire pit!

My dad and I enjoyed our stay very much. He is 86 years old. I searched for a property that had an amazing view of the ocean. Apparently the photos are not up to date as the sand dunes have blocked 80% of the ocean view we initially saw on VRBO. A huge portion of the overnight charge is based on location and view. The beach was epic and ideal for me to walk my dogs. I would hope to come back and visit once you hired someone to level the sand to mirror what is advertised.

Quiet and restful

This was a get away from all of life’s challenges. Had a great time. Lots of sand and great walks on the beach. Waldport has great shops and restaurants!! Seal Rock is just north of town had great shops too.

Lovely Visit

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We celebrated our daughter’s 5th birthday here and she didn’t want to leave. The location was perfect. We were disappointed to find all of the outdoor and beach chairs broken. 5pm is also quite a late checkin (especially with littles) and communication regarding an earlier checkin could have been better. We had lunch at the Drift Inn and it was very lovely!

The spot is great. Not right on the water; house is situated on the dunes, and the sand can whip in the wind. But the beach is secluded and a short walk to Alsea bay sand dollars abound! We had a lovely stay. House is cozy. Great spot to unwind.

R&R Beach Get away.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was just my wife and I and our little pups. It was a good set up for us, and we were able to escape here and forget about our every day worries. Amenities were good and kitchen had enough utensils and pans for us to make our meals. The bed was comfortable and we slept great! The pups had fun on the beach. We will definitely go back if we have an opportunity in the future. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Awesome beach house for couples who ❤️ dogs

Beautiful location and house in Waldport. We loved everything about the house and mgmt company, especially the garage with XBox TV BBQ and foosball table just 500 yrds from beach and ocean. Will definitely return!!! Dogs loved the long beach walks with no one else in sight (every day). Thanks!

Yearly beach trip

Every year I take myself and my kids to the Oregon Coast. We stay in a different location every year and so far this has been the best. The house was clean and right on the beach! It would be awesome if there was more of a view of the ocean but no one can control the sand drifts!

Lovely little beach home

This was a nice comfortable beach home right in the sand. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Note that the kitchen pantry is not stocked at all. Only had salt, pepper and nonstick spray. This was stated in the description but I still found it a bit surprising that there was nothing else even left behind by other renters.

Mother’s Day trip

We spent two nights here with our family of 6. The master bedroom has a nice memory foam mattress. The second bedroom has a bed and bunks and the house supplies a pack and play, so all four kids slept comfortably together in the second room. The living room is oriented around the big windows overlooking dunes with a view of the ocean as well. In the pictures the home looks to be right in the sand and it did not disappoint in this regard. The kids spent hours playing in the sand and running around in the dunes. We could see them from the living room windows as we relaxed in the peaceful quiet! :) super easy access to the water for beach time, walks and searching the sand for treasures. All-in-all this was a lovely, modest location for a great long weekend.

Exactly what we wanted!

We wanted a quick trip to the beach with friends and their kids. This house was perfect for us - on the beach, clean with a well appointed kitchen. Check in was easy and well communicated. We had to communicate once with property manager and they responded almost immediately. Beach is beautiful, and you should make every effort to go out at low tide. There are seals all over on the bay side. Overall 5/5 would recommend.

Vacation right in the dunes

Very cute home nestled right in the sand dunes on the beach in Waldport. We had a fabulous time flying kites and exploring the stretch of beach, nearly had the entire place to ourselves. Seal Rock, the aquarium, and Thors Well were only a 10-15 minute drive away. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived. Admittedly the space was slightly tight for our party of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids), but we made do. Be aware there is no closet nor dresser in the second bedroom; even some drawers under the bunkbeds or larger side tables would have made it a little more useable. The kids enjoyed the foosball table in the garage, and the comfy easy chairs in the main room were great for my father in law. This home is in a great location and good for smaller families who want immediate access to the beach.
