We had a nice large room and a very comfortable bed. Free snacks and coffee served 24 hours. Our breakfast was very good and several options. We were close to downtown and our room looked out over the lake.

The place was ok. Some issues with housekeeping, and worst of all no coffee in the morning (apparently the coffee maker broke). Not the best location either, quite a bit outside of town. Staff was friendly.

Nice mid priced hotel. Property is either newer or updated recently. Super friendly and helpful staff. There were snacks and coffee available all day. Good hot breakfast, but also to-go breakfast items. Nice little pool and hot tub. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Would stay here again.

I’ve stayed here before several times. It never disappoints! My new husband, of one year, was his first stay here. We both loved the take and enjoy in between meal offers!!! All guests were very impressed with that!! Beautiful outside florals welcoming you in!

The location is excellent!! Walker is a great city. The Country Inn is showing its age. The sink in our suite’s barroom had marks on it that looked unclean, but probably was a result of cigarette or burn damage from years ago. The lighting in the king suite room was insufficient. One small lamp. The bathtub/hydro tub was super tall which seniors can’t navigate safely. This hotel in today’s world needs an elevator to the second floor. The concrete and parking lot are showing their age. We paid a high rate for both nights, and have stayed here years ago on two occasions. The property is in decline like all older structures.

Location is superb! You can just walk to the scenic lake shore. Room is big and clean. Front desk lady is super nice and warm hearted. She gave us very useful local information and we had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant she recommended. We will certainly re-visit Walker and will stay in this wonderful hotel again.
